"Quality Inventory Management" — equiptrac — is quite a mouthful.
But what is it, really? It's a philosophy... and it's a service.
It's equiptrac.
equiptrac starts at home. In our repair centers and on the road
with our Service Center
, we practice strict procedures to track and document the instruments
we repair from start to finish. Although not yet ISO (International
Organization of Standardization) certified (we are, however, FDA
registered), we do adhere to the ISO standard for our industry.
This is important: it means that you can rest assured that we
give your instruments the best care, and — if the need should
arise — we have the paper trail to prove it.
Of course, we don't keep this all to ourselves. We offer similar
controls to interested hospitals, organizations and ORs: tracking
any and all instrument trays, powered equipment and endoscopic
systems. We note frequency of use, surgeon-specific equipment
use and care habits, and other variables which hospitals often
find too difficult or too costly to do themselves. All of this
information is then quantified and used to project instrument
repair schedules.
All of this means one thing: peace of mind, and a stronger bottom line.
